Travel Information and Special hotel deals for WOMEX Delegates
We have a new hotel partner this year, Viajes Boreal, who are promising more 2- and 3-star hotels to help keep expenses in check. They can also arrange flights, car rentals, tours and more. And with the showcases in the city centre this year (!!!), you'll want to take advantage of the many wonderful hotels right in the thick of it.
Book your hotel now!
Find here the accommodation form and a Sevilla map, that indicates where all hotels are located - please note the cancellation policy -  and send the accommodation form to:

How to get lost in Sevilla

Planes, trains, cars and boats
Sevilla is easy to reach by all means of transport.
  • Your main airport destination is the Sevilla - San Pablo Airport (SVQ) but you could check out the Jerez Airport (XRY) as well. The Iberia voucher for a special WOMEX discount, to be used when booking through a travel agency, will be online in Summer 2007.

  • The high speed train AVE links Sevilla to Madrid in only 2 ½ hours. For a train discount, please find the AVE voucher here in Summer 2007, too. You can book your ticket in advance by phone or directly at the train station.
  • An extensive road network connects Sevilla by motorway to all parts of Europe and to the ferry to North Africa.
  • Another way to reach Sevilla is by public bus services between cities, which in Spain are modern, frequent, popular and much often faster than trains.
  • You can even arrive with your own boat via the Guadalquivir River, which is navigable up to Sevilla.
  • Local transport is easy and efficient: taxi prices are very reasonable, bus services to all parts of the town including from and to the airport are frequent, and the local train lines connect the main points of the city.
