In consultation with the WOMEX Jury we select informative, educational, even controversial speakers to present their topics.
The deadline for Conference proposals was Friday, 17 April 2009!

WOMEX 09 Conferences
The Conferences have taken a new and dynamic twist addressing exciting, informative and provocative topics.
For the first time there will be 3 themed days:
Digital Myths, Markets and Mayhem / Thursday, 29 October
The Economy of Music / Friday, 30 October
Advocating for Change / Saturday, 31 October
We still treasure the one-off sessions and other special features - including a Danish
seminar - at WOMEX which are not related to any of the 3 day topics.

WOMEX 09 Mentoring Sessions
This popular feature is back for Copenhagen. Once again this year delegates can reserve private, free, 15-minute consultations with any of our six special mentors. As you can see, they come from various fields and occupations, and are there to offer useful advice.
The Mentoring Sessions will be held on Friday, 30 and Saturday, 31 October
11:30 - 13:00. Mail to: conference@womex.com to reserve your slot.
