Jacob Crawfurd is a freelance media-producer and photographer with a broad variety of assignments within press, business, fashion and portrait photography. Stemming from his personal interests, he primarily aims the lens towards bands, concerts and cultural activities. Jacobs passion for Africa has taken him to the continent on assignments while he is also involved in arranging and promoting several African-related music and culture projects in Denmark.

Jeremy Llewellyn-Jones

Jeremy Llewellyn-Jones is an established photographer and filmmaker from London. He spent his first 20 years in Kenya acquiring a lasting love of Africa and its music. He speaks Swahili, so return trips to discover and photograph new music in East Africa are even more pleasurable. He takes portraits for musicians from all over the world and his photographs and writing feature in many publications including Songlines and fRoots. Recent covers and features for Songlines include Baaba Maal and blind Aboriginal singer Geoffrey Gurrumul Yunupingu.

Eric van Nieuwland lives and works in the Netherlands as a photojournalist. His work combines the two worlds of both his greatest passions: photography and jazz and world music. Alongside photographing for artist management and record companies, Eric is a writer/photographer for websites reporting on cultural events. Artists he works for include Zuco103 (played at WOMEX 2001) and Wouter Hamel the new jazz sensation from Holland. His work is known for capturing the essence of the atmosphere and special moments.

Heather’s interest in photography took off many years ago when she was handed a camera at a World Music festival. Since then, she has traveled extensively, shooting amazing events and spectacular scenery. Heather has an eye for nature and travel photography but her passion is shooting the stage. Heather has covered major international events such as Nuits d’Afrique, Virgin Mobile Festival, Planet Arlington and more. Her event coverage photos have been used by global broadcast giants XM and Worldspace Satellite Radio.
