ONLINE REGISTRATION FOR WOMEX 2010 NOW OPEN

Dear Media Colleagues,

Online registration for WOMEX 10 in Copenhagen from Wednesday, 27 to Sunday, 31 October has now started. Tickets are only available for the full 5-day package and give access to all WOMEX events - daytime and nighttime. The registration fees remain the same as in 2009.

"We are doing our very best to keep the WOMEX costs as low as possible for our delegates in a pricy city like Copenhagen," confirms Daniela Teuber, WOMEX Director of Production.

Early buyers can purchase bargain tickets at Smart Rate until Friday, 18 June 2010.

WOMEX is moving the daytime venue from Bella Center in the suburbs to Copenhagen city centre. Forum Copenhagen, a venue hosting major events from Book Forum to Tokio Hotel, will house the trade fair, daycases, conference and film screenings.

Last year's event - the 15th edition of WOMEX - saw 2700 delegates from 92 countries including 650 exhibitors at 280 stands. 57 showcase acts from 43 countries were presented on 6 stages. More than 60 speakers in about 30 conference and mentoring sessions inspired professionals from all over the world.
