everyday... Now who is stitching together the programme intended to
please our delegates' ears & eyes?
WOMEX '10 JURY: 2 + 5 SAMURAI
Every year WOMEX invites a Jury made up of a new generation of world music passionates. The Jury members – also known as the 7 Samurai – work on the Showcase and Conference selection. In 2010 for the first time the WOMEX Jury is split up into two fields of responsibility: Two Samurai are primarily in charge of the Conference programming – the other five are asked to shape the Showcase Festival.Conference

Film proposals are independently juried by the IMZ International, Music + Media Centre in Vienna
Artists, speakers, filmmakers are called on to submit their Showcase, Conference, and Film proposals for WOMEX '10 Copenhagen. Deadline is Friday, 16 April 2010. . Submission forms and further information are available online.
