LAST CALL FOR WOMEX PROGRAMME PROPOSALS
Friday, 16 April is your deadline for all WOMEX '10 programme proposal
submissions: Showcase, Conference and Film Screenings.

Important Note for Showcase Proposals
Please bear in mind that the Sonicbids online proposal process might
need some extra time. Do not leave it till the last day.
After having completed Step I of the proposal process (creation and
submission of your online EPK through Sonicbids) you should receive
a confirmation email stating "WOMEX submission received". If you
haven't got this mail, your submission is not completed! In this case
please contact us, mail to showcase@womex.com
Don't forget Step II: Send 2 CDs and and any available DVDs/video
material to our office in Berlin.

Following on the success of last year's inaugural event Roots South West, the music development project managed by Arts Council England South West and Bristol City Council, present the second Live and Direct day.
Keynote speaker at Live and Direct 2 is Melvin Benn, Managing Director of Festival Republic. Alongside the Fleadh, Latitude, and major involvement in Glastonbury in 2009 the company added Hove Festival in Norway, the Electric Picnic and the Big Chill to their growing portfolio. Expect a stimulating look at the UK and international Festival ecology in 2010.
