WOMEX Showcase Festival Tickets on Sale


WOMEX is the world’s biggest professional music Conference, Trade Fair and Showcase for world, roots, folk, ethnic, traditional, alternative world, local and diaspora music now holding its 14th edition in Sevilla, 29 Oct - 2 Nov 2008.

How much are the tickets?

Advance Sale
  • Day Ticket: 18 Euros + service expenses
  • 3-Day Pass: 45 Euros + service expenses
Box Office
  • Day Ticket: 22 Euros
  • 3-Day Pass: 50 Euros
  • The Box office is on Plaza España, tickets will be sold one hour before the event.
  • Programme: subject to change.
  • Access to the Showcase venues is subject to capacity.

An extra charge over the ticket price is added as services expenses.

How to get there?

Teatro Lope de Vega/Casino de la Exposición and Plaza de España are situated in the South of the city centre opposite the university and a small park called El Prado de San Sebastián.

The location is served by the following bus lines: 1, 5, 22, 25, 26, 28, 29, 30, 31, 33, 34, 36, 37, C1, C2, the night buses A1 – A6 and the Especial Aeropuerto (EA).

The Especial Aeropuerto takes you every 30 minutes (every hour on weekends) from Prado to San Pablo Airport (on the road to Madrid), also stopping at the main railway station Santa Justa.
