The group A Filetta was created in 1978 from a deep passion for the singing and land of Corsica. Since then, the group has soared to the peak of vocal harmony. Unlimited talent, a piercing vocal sensitivity and an overwhelming emotional fervor are the trademarks of A Filetta magic. No one leaves their concerts unmoved. The seven singers of the choir drive their singing from the very traditional art up to the field of new compositions with ever keeping their roots deeply and smartly anchored. No wonder that the film music composer Bruno Coulais or the talented choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui have called on them many times for fruitful collaborations. In 2003 they released a brilliant songs album "Si Di Me" (Virgin). In 2006 their a cappella album "Medea" (Naive) is inspired by Seneque's antique tragedy. This year in May they released "Bracana" (Harmonia Mundi distribution), their 13th album celebrates the 30th anniversary of the group.
