The meeting organized by choreographer Sidi Larbi Cherkaoui for the show "PUZ/ZLE " created in Festival d'Avignon 2012, was born a common a cappella repertoire, on e request from the Festival d'Ile de France. This is partly two pieces written for the occasion (for sextet and soprano) as well as songs taken from their respective repertoires, sacred or profane singing, tradition or created, interpeted in Corsican, Arabic or Syriac. Fusion stamps is stunning and the melismas of each harmonic constructions meet the modern, complex, sometimes disturbing others.
This new program is titled "Conversation(s)" and is
LE MONDE (press) : "The true luxury of this show is the staggering majesty of songs. The seven voices, including one female, fill the space as you blow gently into a balloon."
