Jacques Gaines is a singer songwriter and producer. He specializes in the refinement and upgrading of already existing song ideas of other artists and the development of whole songs, including arrangements from scratch. In the mid 1990s he carved a name for himself in the Canadian music industry as part of the band called Soul Attorneys. Top ten singles to his name include "These are the days", "See the people", and of course "So they say". Jacques' primary creative musical instrument of choice is the acoustic guitar and piano. His music is distinguished by his velvety voice and smooth, clear, and simple arrangements. He is also known for his ability to carve out very melodic songs.
I am primarily a singer and songwriter. I do dabble in a great deal of other art forms. These include, most notably, photography, poetry, and film making. I hope one day to excel in all the above mentioned art forms. The hard part is not to become a "Jack of all trades and master of none"
