Nominated for an Éloize award.
Trois-Rivières, October 12th, 2002 - the internationally acclaimed Acadian group BLOU, coming from Baie Ste-Marie in Nova Scotia, is happy to announce its nomination for an award at the Éloize award 2002. Indeed, the group was nominated in the category of : « ARTISTE S'ÉTANT LE PLUS ILLUSTRÉ HORS ACAD IE ».(Artist who represented Acadia in foreign countries)

It is important to note that, in the last few years, the group BLOU has almost been everywhere in the world. The group visited such countries as France, Denmark, Norway, Italy, Belgium, Germany, the United States, Corsica and Holland very often. Also, the group went to the Canadian provinces several times, like Québec, Ontario, Manitoba, Colombie-Britannique and Alberta, where their dynamic and energetic music was very much enjoyed. We note that the group presented more than one hundred show in the last 12 months across the planet. Also, BLOU's music has played and has been on several top ten lists in c ountries such as Australia, Brazil, Portugal, Spain, Iles Seychelles, l'Ile de la Réunion, Germany, Norway, Denmark, Italy, France, Belgium, Holland, the United States ect. The group BLOU is proud to open the doors of the international market for the Canadian music and the francophone songs for the other Acadian artists and to bring the Acadian culture across the world.

BLOU, is PATRICE BOULIANNE, JACQUES LIVERNOCHE, DILLON ROBICHEAU, PAUL TUPPER AND KEVAN CORBETT. The five men of the group are already getting ready for the year 2003. In the following months, the group will present its show everywhere in Canada in the United States and in Europe.

BLOU will end the year 2002 with a round of shows that will take them in France (from the 14th to the 25th of October) and in Québec(from the 11th to the 13th of October). The public of the Atlantic Provinces will have the chance of seeing the group performing their music and songs at the FrancoFete Dieppe-Moncton's activities. The award show Éloizes 2002 will be presented at the Capitol theatre in Moncton on the 2nd of November. The show will be broadcasted on the television some time afterwards.
