“...the Santoro Duo took place with José Staneck, harmonica virtuose. The repertoire highlights are Villa-Lobos and Gnattali”. Luiz Paulo Horta – Jornal O Globo, 2012 – Brasil.

He has been called the harmonica-David Oïstrakh by the french critic Oliver Bellamy, and has also been compared to the musicians Andrés Segovia and Mstislav Rostropovich, by the critic Luiz Paulo Horta, due to his performance in the development of his instrument.
