KEPA JUNKERA is the Basque country's most notable young musician, having first visited this country in a trio - Trans-Europe Diatonique - with John Kirkpatrick (UK) and Riccardo Tesi (Italy). From an early age Kepa showed an interest in the diatonic accordion (trikitixa in Basque) and started playing it from an early age.
