His songs champion the oppressed fight for the dispossessed and challenge the exploiters. Anthems and love songs all pour from his prolific pen and have inspired a multitude of artists to cover them, including The Oysterband, June Tabor, Dick Gaughan, Peggy Seeger, Patrick Street, The Fureys, Christy Moore, Eddie Reader, Dolores Keane....and so the list goes on. Si has a compelling stage presence which, combined with his dusty southern style , makes his concerts hugely moving, inspiring and enjoyable. ALSO Si is very happy to run workshops and give talks.
