While he was a teenager envolving in the hip hop movement in Cameroon, Sultan Oshimihn discovered the Rastafarism. He immersed himself of the ideology Rasta and changed his songbook for essentially Reggae/Ragga musics. His first album The Birth of Fire was released in 2005 and was directly a huge hit in Cameroon with single like Quelle ecole- talking about the weakness of the educational system.

Since 2006, he receives many awards in Cameroon (best video, best Reggae/Ragga artist, best Reggae/Ragga album) and he perfomes in most Reggae/Hip Hop stages.

Nowadays, at the age of 30, Sultan Oshimihn, who consider himself as a rasta messenger , has awake the awareness of the youth and also the cameroonian society in loss of moral and cultural values.
