The sound of the six from Denmark is called New York Klezmer, a crisp mix of traditional Klezmer music and elements of Rock, Surf, Pop and Balkan, that gains its liveliness by the multifaceted background and the different musical personalities of the individual musicians. So they interpret traditional tunes freely, but always respect and retain the essence of Klezmer, that is quasi able to cry and to laugh with its characteristically expressive melodies, but always abides by the tradition as festive day music for special occasions.
