Being the winners of the Dutch Balkan Blues Contest, organized by International Gipsy Festival Tilburg, Amariszi played a concert with Kurdish kaval player Emrah O&487;uztuerk (former member of e.g. Kardes Tuerkueler and Aynur Dogan). It turned out to be a sublime combination, resulting in a very special concert, with great reviews.
For 2013 Amariszi is planning to continue the collaboration with Oguztuerk by performing at European World and Jazz Festivals.
