Caruma is a folk band from Potugal's inland, singing the country and its boldnesses. Together since 2010, they edit in that same year their first record, being now ready for the second one.
Caruma's universe is sliding from an old to a knew Portugal, pretending that both of them never come together, and that maleness and tradition walk side by side. That today's Portugal is still to be found, lost among such a globalization. Their sonority crosses the portuguese traditional folk, but also the frenetical rhythms of eastern Europe, changing to simpler melodies that carry lack of love and unhappy love stories.
Caruma wants to be free, dry and have no compromises with those listening to them. There are corrosive themes, forbidden words and the usual in these things: talk about what they want, how they want.
