At the forefront of the most recent explosion of interest in the English folk scene is singer and fiddler Eliza Carthy. Her band The Ratcatchers includes two more guiding lights from the new generation of English folk, John Spiers and Jon Boden, as well as her co-producer Ben Ivitsky and tuba player, Gideon Juckes.
