Co.Antrim born harpist and singer Amy McAllister is an exciting new talent on the traditional music scene. Drawing on her traditional roots, she adopts a contemporary approach to her music with clear and distinctive vocals and a contemporary harp style.
Amy has toured across North America, Canada and Europe with Celtic Crossroads and Rhythm of the Dance, and has twice represented Ireland at the Rio Harp Festival (one of the largest international harp festivals) and was selected as one of Moving on Music’s ‘Emerging Artists’ in 2016.
It has been a busy year for Amy that culminated in the launch of her debut album ‘String on String’ in April of this year. The launch featured an eclectic mix of traditional songs and tunes, original music, and guest musicians.
