Once a dream, now a reality pushing traditional and new sounds to unforeseen levels. In 4 years, during which ANCESTRAL had the opportunity to invite artists from around the world such as; DJ Satelite (Angola), Gardy Girault (Haiti), Jose Marquez (United States), MR. ID (Morocco), Mr. Raoul K (Ivory Coast), Umoja (The Netherlands), Shimza (South Africa) among many others all in the name of rhythm and culture. From Argentina to Zimbabwe all good music has it's history and it’s future.
ANCESTRAL was born on January 24, 2014 at the Parisian musical institution known as Djoon and founded by Central African DJ/ Producer, Boddhi Satva and American DJ/ creator Ivan Diaz. With the help of an international team they created a platform for ANCESTRAL music with a total 32 events in 11 countries including beach, boat parties and festivals. This year Ivan Diaz is taking over the helm with a new team and vision. "We are turning a once party into a musical lifestyle ."
