André Rafael was born in Rio de Janeiro - Brazil , in 1972.
With a degree in Law , he built up , in 1996, the "AR Studios", an audio recording complex that has 3 rooms for recording and mixing , and it is been used since than from artists as Caetano Veloso , Sting , Paralamas do Sucesso , Gal Costa , Gilberto Gil , Super Furry Animals, Skank, among others.
As a producer , André worked with independents artists and bands , like Down Jones , Poesia de Gaia , Sayowa , Mongol , Taska , and with Marcelo Bonfá , former drummer of Legião Urbana.
He's also bringing to WOMEX his secound solo album , "Na manhã do outro dia"
