Dear Friends of Brazilian Music,
The ARChive will release the press release for Brazilian World Music Day early next week. If you would like to be a contributor, please e-mail us back ASAP. Again, all we ask is that you say you will do 'something' on or around the date of Sept 7, 2012 related to Brazilian music.
Brazilian World Music Day is a project of the ARChive, along with Columbia University and Gracenote. The simple goal is to celebrate the beauty and importance of Brazilian music and culture. Brazilian World Music Day will be a publicly available online website. This site will serve as a hub to gather, organize, centralize and share important and useful information about Brazilian music artistry, events and resources from all over the world, to promote the music to an international audience.
