Ariwa Sounds is one of the longest running record labels in the UK, specialising in music from the Caribbean.



Started in 1979 by Neil Fraser aka Mad Professor.

Ariwa specialises in Dub, Roots, Lovers Rock and Soca-Calypso.

This colourful label has been responsible for many succesful careers. Pato Banton, Macka B, Earl 16, Aisha, Benjamin Zephaniah, and many more.



Ariwa has it's own well maintained recording facility. Specialising in state of the Art analogue equipment from the 70's and 80's, and the very latest in digital technology.
