In 2003 when we created our company ARTos & Theama, we took many “difficult” decisions at the same time. We decided to be based in northern Greece, in Thessaloniki – and not in Athens!, (in contrast to what is usually considered to be normal in our country) - and to use this multicultural city as the starting point of our efforts. We were convinced that representing some of the best parts of the good quality Greek music as we know it, deeply and with great love, could make us travel happily as much as needed in order to present those unique artists and the music they create or perform to every possible point of this world.
As years have passed by, great artists trusted us and our work and we remained faithful to our vision: to represent great artists with long term potentials and with a certain depth in their creations or performances.
We succeeded in taking artists like Eleftheria Arvanitaki, Manos Achalinotopoulos, Krotala percussion group to the best festivals and in the most prestigious venues all over the world.
So, our motto couldn’t be different than what we really offer:

Greek Music…at its Best!

Through the years, we have broadened our vision and we have had the pleasure to undertake projects or represent artists such as: Marta Sebestyén (in a unique new project), Ara Dinkjian (with his great trio), Kepa Junkera (production assistance in his new cd), Toumani Diabaté, Bebo Valdés, Nicola Piovani and more.
These principals are also reflected in the foreign artists we exclusively represent in Greece: Mariza, Buika, Ludovico Einaudi, Ivo Papasov and more.

So, I think that our motto should be from now on changed to:

The Best Music from Greece…and Beyond!
