The Arts Council of Wales is responsible for funding and developing the arts in Wales.Arts Council of Wales is an independent charity, established by Royal Charter in 1994.
We invest public funding that is allocated to us by the Welsh Assembly Government as well as distribute Lottery funds. We currently spend around £31million each year, which help the arts to thrive in Wales.
We provide advice about the arts. Our staff and advisers have the largest concentration of arts expertise and knowledge in Wales. We are the national centre of a network of information and intelligence about the arts in Wales and we aspire to share information and expertise.
