The second edition of The Gypsy Queens & Kings in 2009/2010 still features Macedonian Gypsy Queen Esma Redzepova, Bulgarian Mahala rocker Jony Iliev, young Romanian singer and Taraf De Haidouks' Nicolae Neacsus granddaughter Florentina Sandu, as well as acclaimed French rumba Gitano group Kaloome. New to The Gypsy Queens & Kings is a young and vibrant brass band who will be performing new material especially created for this new show. The Gypsy Queens & Kings concerts offers powerful visual, musical flamboyance and gives the audience an extraordinary and unique experience of the soul of Gypsy music.
