Inaki Sandoval has become in recent years as one of the most important Spanish jazz pianists. His first album as leader (Sausolito, AYVA Music - 2005) earned him the unanimous recognition of the critics, and has consolidated his presence in the circuits of Europe and America, having also a notable selling success in countries like Japan.
Now he presents his new album: Usaquen (AYVA Music 2008), with all new original compositions, featuring Horacio Fumero on bass and David Xirgu on drums, his stable trio.
Born in Pamplona (Navarra, Spain) in 1974, he lives now in Barcelona, where he is the director of the jazz department at the Conservatory Liceu since the year 2003.
