The hotest trumpets of world music
They are the volcanic sicilian trumpeter Roy Paci, the eclectic klezmer musician Frank London (Grammy Award 2007) and the king of Balcans, Boban Markovic, together with his court, the Orkestar.The greatest classics of tradition from Sicily, jewish melodies carved in history, serbian upbeat dances sweeping you off your feet and arrangements made ad hoc by the trio will be (processed/blended) by the fanfara in the service of Markovic, that already served Goran Bregovic in Kusturica's movies and has been generously awarded during the Guca festival.
The result? Non-stop noise, frenzied dances, driving brass and killer rythm with three trumpets like never before and never to come. The verve of Roy, the class of Frank, the power of Boban, all condensed on one stage: Roy Pacy bounces from Aretuska's ska to Manu Chao's patchanka, all the way to Banda Ionica's popular marches; Frank London plays with klezmer, representing its new wave with Klezmatics and its noisy side with Frank London Klezmer Brass All Stars. And then Boban Marcovic, together with Marko, his son, add his genius and give everything in the hands of his fanfara, entrusting his instrument: seal of the show, guarantee for fun.
