Baraná Quintet: NEW ALBUM

Netherlands based Turkish/Dutch crossover group Baraná Quintet champions soulful innovative music, in which the power of Turkish tradition is connected to playful Dutch improvisation, with the meeting as an ongoing source of inspiration.

This fall Baraná presents a new album: Sarap (Label: Baykus Music, Turkey). Inspiration for the album are the texts by the famous Persian poet Omar Khayyam. Recurrent motive in the work of Khayyam is the importance of Wine, according to him an important way to honour the Creation.
