"From Mud & Siol" is a collection of some pieces of music, songs and poetry readings all connected to the theme and texts of Shahnameh and is the production of art and cultural foundation of Roudaki for 15th of May the national commemoration day of the great poet Abolghasem Ferdowsi. This collection is an essay to reawaken the spirit of liberalism, magnanimity and national pride and to revive a sense of unity and camaraderie in us. An illustrated booklet is also included which contains the introduction of pieces and groups, an article about modernity and the experience of composing music in Iran as well as a special chapter about different instruments used in this collection.
