The island of El Hierro is a unique place (protected World Biosphere Reserve since 2000)mainly due to the peace and tranquility you can find everywhere.
Its exotic nature and the gentleness of its people makes of this island, a small paradise full of a special magic.

As from the end of 2010, it will become - like the danish island of Samsoe - the second island in the world to have a project of 100% renewable energies for sustainability.

We are aware that, in addition to a sustainable energy system, this world also cries for people that know how to interconnect with others in a real human way.
The BIMBACHE openART has been created for this purpose: to encourage the birth of a cultural laboratory to investigate sustainability on a human scale. An open process to link the culture and knowhow of the local people with the foreign vanguard and international culture.
Come and join us!
