Widely concerned by the problems of the intercultural, this structure forges its identity around the intercrossing of the cultures by anchoring its artistic and educational approach in the contemporary stakes of tradition, in particular as factor of modernity. It works more particularly around the Brazilian culture and traditional musics.

Very dynamic collective of artists offering shows, training courses, wanderings and regular courses, the CASAMARELA association defines itself as a pole of culture: space of transmission and of (re) creation of the alive arts.

Every year, CASAMARELA organizes ZOOM BRASIL, the festival of the cultures of Brazil in Lyon.
