Quique Neira the "Icon of Reggae" is the voice of young Chile and a key figure in Latin American reggae. He revives Bob Marley's idea of reggae: the combination of good vibes and social criticism - conscious lyrics in the "Spirit of JAH."

Neira, who is influenced by such greats as Bob Marley and Peter Tosh,. mixes solid Roots Rock and Roots Reggae with Latin Flair and in this way creates a light, catchy sound that has drawn hundreds of thousands to concerts in stadiums since the 1990s.

A singer with a unique voice who is also an instrumental musician, a composer and a producer, he began his successful solo career in 2002. He is now considered to be one of the most famous and talented musicians of Latin America.

In the 1990s he became a permanent fixture on the Latin American Reggae scene as a frontman and composer for Gondwana and Bamboo.

With solo album hits such as "Eleven" (2003) and "Cosas Buenas" (2005) which received a national award for the Best Pop Ballad and with his last production, the CD "JAH Rock" (2008), he made the charts in his home country.

The "National Rastaman" has been equally popular at big Latin American festivals including the One Spring Festival /Chile 2007 (along with the Wailers)and 2009, the Vibraciones de America /Mexico, 2008 and 2009, the Festival de Reggae Latino /Puerto Rico, 2008 and 2009, the Cumbre del Rock Chileno II /Chile, 2009 . Festival Carlos Paz and Love/ Argentina 2010

In European venues such as the Eurokeenes /France 2008 Festival and the prestigious Montreux Festival /Switzerland 2008.
