Cuban multi-percussionist Enildo Rasua is a true virtuoso. His endless professional activity (Orquesta Sinfonica Nacional de Cuba, Orquesta de Cabaret Tropicana, Orquesta R.T.V cubana...) and educational work (Instituto Superior de Arte de Cuba, Catedra de musics popular Benny More, Universitat Pompeu Fabra (UPF) Barcelona provide a wealth of experience. He has collaborated and performed with artists such as Trilok Gurtu, Joaquin Cortes, Cesc Gelabert, Clave i Guaguanco, Pedro Luis Ferrer, Michael Legrand, Raul Recow y Karl perazzo, Carles Benavent, Jose Changuito Quintana, Tata Guines...
Project:
"Cuban Cha's Project"
Is the new work is headed by Enildo Rasua, with which has performed in several jazz festivals in Cuba, Spain, France and Germany, among others. The repertoire combines genres of Cuban music (son, guaguanco, timba...) with elements of jazz and improvisation, in which rhythm is dealt with a peculiar manner by the simultaneous combination of drums and percussion, and the use of "the third hand"
