CHANZO: East African Artist Agency, the first dedicated artist agency for the region that focuses on representing, developing, and promoting top-quality independent artists at their "source" -- tapping into cultural heritage where it meets the contemporary edge of expression. CHANZO nurtures and supports artists through creating and curating comprehensive media packages, and booking and promoting shows locally, regionally, and internationally. The agency connects artists and audiences in the region to shape the future of the East African music landscape by building upon shared experiences and dreams. A few of the artists we work with are SARABI (Kenya), Ze Spirits Band (Tanzania), IFA Band (Tanzania),Leo Mkanyia & Swahili blues(Tanzania) and John Kitime & Anania Ngoliga (Tanzania). CHANZO is an initiative of the Tanzania Heritage Project, Maliki Sufiani and Aziza Ongala
