RADIO TRANSIT is a collaboration of Jaune Toujours
with refugee and immigrant musicians from
different countries- now newcomers in Belgium.
With Radio Transit Jaune Toujours wants to proove
to the public that refugees and newcomers can
make an important (musical) contribution to the
enhancement of our society. At the same time the
band wants to draw attention to the status that
refugees are often reduced to in our countries.

It is also the introduction of some very talented
musicians to the professional musical scene. You
could call it a musical welcome...

RADIO TRANSIT is also the name of a compilation
CD, featuring tracks of the participating musicians.

AFROZQUAD hip hop from Angola, with lyrics in
Lingala and Portugese

HEARTWASH a band of African and Belgian reggae

JAUNE TOUJOURS explosive crosscultural mix
KINCH: Congolese party music with blues and jazz
elements.
LAMP FALL SARAFINA: soulful Reggae Blues from
Senegal
MEC YEK are two young Romani singers, backed by
musicians of Jaune Toujours
SAMBA DJANGO: Desertblues in the Peul tradition.
SAMSON & SAMUEL: Ethnic, traditional music from
Eritrea.
ZIONYOUTH: Roots rock reggae with a positive vibe
