A word from Mike.
I have had the title "Rock and Roll Recordings" for a long time. I just never quite had the album to go with the title.

But this one just felt right. Rock and Roll is supposed to be fun and have a - live off the floor - type of feel. This record has, I believe, does just that.
When we recorded this record, we really tried to not spend a lot of time over analyzing things. I know this sounds like a cliché, but we just tried to serve the song. The drums sound exactly like drums are supposed to like. Same goes for the guitars, bass, piano and for that matter, the vocals.
Most early rock and roll songs deal with cars and or girls. And more often than not, cars and girls in the same three minute song.
One of those days, is a three chord song dealing with the rat race. Lyrically it is my favorite and it has a heap of energy to boot.

Somewhere under the rainbow is a song about the journey. Life's journey and how there is something or someone somewhere for everyone. You have just got to look.
All that being said, I am as proud as I could be with this album. It was a ton of fun to record and I hope that it is as much fun to listen to. Adios,Mike
