"AFROLAILO ", THE EXPECTED RETURN OF MARINAH OJOS DE BRUJO
‘Afrolailo’ is full of lively, rumba songs that play comfortably between rumba, reggae and flamenco, between Afro styles and Latin music, between Cuba and hip-hop.
In this adventure Marinah has been accompanied by a lot of colleagues and great musicians who already accompanied her in Ojos de Brujo, so we find Maxwell (beatbox), Javi Martín (bass), Carlos Sarduy (trumpet, piano, production) and Susana Medina (Chorus and flamenco dance) along with other collaborations such as Chicuelo (flamenco guitar), Muchacho Serviole (guitar rumbera), David Dominguez (flamenco percussion), Frank Durán (drums), Dany Noel , Julio Nahinim Carbonell (saxophone). And the excellence of the guests: flamenco guitar player "Chicuelo", “Caramelo de Cuba” on piano, "Kumar" , the young “Lágrimas de Sangre” , “Arianna Puello” stand out.
The album has been recorded in Barcelona, between the recording studios La Panchita, with Gerard “Chalart58” Casajus, L’Atlántida with Mario Patiño and Feedback Studio with Cesar J. de Cisneros, and has been mixed in the Basque Country in Garate Studios, with Kaki Arkarazo.
