Andalusian remembering is the new project of Moroccan singer, composer & instrumentalists Kamal Ben Hicham.
Together with his 'dikrayat orchestra', (16 musicians from all over the world) he takes us on a journey between the 8th and 15th century in Al Andalus.
Dikrayat Anadalucia is about the coexistence of cultures & religions when the Arabs ruled Al Andalus.
This era was a beautiful fusion of cultures between Muslims, Christians, and Jews and an example of coexistence, peace and respect.
Listening to this music recaptures this atmosphere, albeit with the sound of the 21th Century.
