Set up in 2003 the COOPERATIVA DE MUSICA gathers work of over 1,750 associates in São Paulo, Brazil's most representative state economically. Formed by musicians, singers, arrangers, conductors, composers, producers and technicians, the institution has actively participated of discussions and actions so as to make more significant the presence of Brazilian music in both national and international scenes. The organization also provides legal assistance to its associates advises them in pre-production of their spectacles and represents them on concert bookings and other services, in addition to being a publisher of educational materials and a record label whose catalog has today 25 titles. Cooperativa de musica's musical universe covers classical music, Brazilian popular music (MPB), pop-rock, forró, Brazilian country music, bossa nova, choro, samba, traditional music, instrumental and electronic music. This diversity is represented by the music of 36 artists and groups, a true picture of the Brazilian cultural richness: come see and listen to the sounds of Brazil.
