PEDRO OMAR plays the 10-stringed viola and has both northeastern popular and avant-garde music as his references. LOOP B produces electronic music inspired by Brazilian rhythms and plays percussion on scrap objects. The work was registered on the CD "Farinha Digital" (Label Cooperativa de Musica). Besides the Brazilian northeastern viola, they use unusual instruments - gasoline tank, washing machine, toy sword, empty cannon cartridges - as well as ethnic instruments - Indian tabla and kalimba. The show features songs from the CD and reveals the integration between viola northeastern music and electronic music where there's still space for acoustic improvisation on broken and dancing beats.
