2008 Tim Music Award Winner for Best CD for Children, “POR QUE?” walks on various themes, rhythms and instrumental sounds, proposing the children to think about the world and its diversity. What distinguishes the work of RITA RAMEH and LUIZ WAACK is the involvement with children issues, as “bright days, dark nights”, the strange creatures, the city, pollution, street market, the forest, its sounds, the onça (Brazilian feline), the shark, the family, “why this, why that?“. The selected songs are linked together in such a way that suggests a musical piece. In the show, the singers command the play, using scenic accessories and effects that involve children, always playing with the imagination.
