With 10 years of existence, the instrumental sextet PROJETO B has always sought the unprecedented, both in original compositions and adaptations of the repertoire, which carries through the instrumentation, re-reading of dynamics, development of improvisation and mix of different trends in instrumental music and jazz. The adaptation of works by masters of classical music of the early twentieth century is a work that the group has been developing since 2004, and was recorded on their CDs,”Andarilho” - with the adaptation and development of a piece of Charles Ives - and “A Noite” with the adaptation of the piece “The Rite of Spring” by Igor Stravinsky. In 2009, they released “A Viagem de Villa-Lobos”, a special CD withunusual adaptations of works of the Brazilian composer.
