The group SAMBAGROOVE is born from a structured concept on a genuinely Brazilian music fused with pop art. With grooves from Erick Chica (percussion, drums and backing vocals), Renato Chica (percussion, drums and backing vocals), Felipe Cambero (guitar and lead vocal) and Rodrigo Leite (acoustic guitar and lead vocal), the group interprets their own material mixed with rearrangements ranging from Chico Buarque to Marcelo D2, Jorge Benjor and Seu Jorge. SAMBAGROOVE has performed with several Brazilian artists and toured in Munich (Germany). They recorded a live CD in São Paulo and another one in a studio with their own material which is scheduled for release in November of 2009.
