Unnati literally means “prosperity” in Hindi. Unnati’s first public performance was at the tender age of 4 years old in front of an audience of 3,000 people singing for Janmashtami (Krishna’s Birthday). Unnati released her debut album “Vishwa – The Universe of Music” in India with a 6 City tour of Mumbai, Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore & Coorg in 2002. In 2005, Unnati was one of six semi finalists of the Glastonbury Unsigned Artistes Jazz World heat and her track “Baarish Mein – In the Rain” released on "The Glastonbury Unsigned Artistes of 2005" compilation album.

Unnati is a former Glastonbury Jazz World Stage Unsigned finalist and has performed at prestigious venues globally including; Mexico’s Cervantino Festival, Alchemy Festival in London, Boubou’s Music Festival in the Caribbean, Kala Ghoda Arts Festival in Mumbai, Royal Albert Hall’s brunch series, The London Latin Jazz Festival at Pizza Express Jazz Club, Seven Arts in Leeds and London’s Cadogan Hall for a concert on Indian Republic Day.

Key highlights to date have been to perform at Westminster Abbey for Sir Richard Attenborough’s Memorial Service and DJ Ravin choosing “Teri Yaad Aati Hain” (from Unnati’s album, Indigo Soul) to be featured on Buddha Bar’s Compilation album “The Ultimate Experience”. Unnati has also lent her voice to the Film “Nachle London”.

Unnati’s music is a unique blend of global music encompassing jazz, folk, light Indian Classical and spiritual influences reflecting Unnati’s international background.
