Serge LUC was born in Bayonne (Pays Basque, France) in 1957. He played percussions and drums.
He studied classical percussions in Bayonne Conservatory. After these studies, he moved to Paris to play drums. Since then he has played in many bands like Big Band, Quartet, Trio...
He created his own band in 1998 : Serge LUC Quartet. He occasionnally appears in an other famous band "Trio LUC " with his brothers Sylvain and Gérard LUC.
He recorded several albums in quartet with Laurent Bajata " Rue de la pompe ", an other album in quartet with Laurent Mignard " Detective " and an album with Didier Burgaud " Fascination ".
In his quartet, Serge LUC is accompanied by a great accordionist Didier Ithursarry, a famous tuba player Laurent Pezieres, an incredible guitarist Jean Philippe Bordier for a music crossing reggae, funk, jazz and traditional music.
Serge LUC composed most of titles in his first album and his next album.
