DEODATO SIQUIR finalist at NGOMA

Deodato Siquir is now finalist for the Mozambican national competition NGOMA, with his CD BALANÇO, that was pre-released at Womex 2007 .
At the same time Siquir has been invited to Maputo to teach and perform this autumn, just before Womex 2008.
He will also be working on his new CD in Mozambique with the working title "SOS for PEACE". (www.myspace.com/sosforpeace)
After Womex, Siquir will be touring in Scandinavia with the Cameroonian bass player Etienne Mbappé and Danish musicians.
In spring 2008, DEODATO SIQUIR & BALANÇO, will be touring New York, Zanzibar and Mozambique....
