Was born in Aveiro in 1979. With a degree in Civil Engineering, has studied Double Bass at the Hot Clube Jazz School and at the National Conservatory of Music. Was a member of the Juvenile Symphonic Orchestra and of the Youth Big Band. Has performed in several Jazz ensembles and founded a Jazz trio named Tricotismo. Participates on a tribute album dedicated to Carlos Paredes with the band Lupanar, alongside with some of the most well-known Portuguese musicians.
