FUNDRAISER VACANCY IN ZANZIBAR

PROFESSIONAL FUNDRAISER REQUIRED -
FESTIVAL OF THE DHOW COUNTRIES, Zanzibar

The annual Festival of the Dhow Countries, based in Zanzibar, Tanzania, is
East Africa's premier cultural event.
Showcasing cinema, music and performing arts from Africa, the Gulf States,
Iran, the Indian subcontinent and the Islands of the Indian Ocean, the
event also features: seminars, workshops, exhibitions, special events for
women, youth and children, mini-festivals in villages and more.

The successful candidate will take a leading role in fundraising at national
and international level and have a proven track record for fundraising for
NGOs/Arts/Cultural organisations.

Essential: excellent oral and written English and IT literacy.
Desirable, but not essential: French and Kiswahili
Salary: negotiable on commission basis.
